Evin King joined the Firm as an attorney in December 2021 and was promoted to Junior Partner in December 2025. She brings a decade of experience in local government law, with deep expertise spanning employment law, liquor and marijuana licensing, taxation, open meetings and open records compliance, and the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act (“CGIA”). Ms. King currently serves as City Attorney for the City of Cripple Creek, advising on the full range of municipal legal matters.

Before joining MGM, Ms. King built her postgraduate career at a municipal law firm in Denver and at the Denver City Attorney’s Office, developing a broad foundation in public-sector legal practice.
